INCOLOY 825, Nickel-Iron-Chromium Alloy, Inconel 825, Alloy 825

UNS N08825, EN 2.4858, NiFe30Cr21Mo3

Incoloy 825 is an alloy comprising of Nickel, Iron, and Chromium along with other key elements – molybdenum, copper and titanium. The nickel content is solely enough for resistance against stress corrosion cracking, whereas addition of molybdenum and copper provides resistance at low temperature and pitting and crevice corrosion. The addition of titanium enhances stabilization against sensitization to intergranular corrosion.
